CONTRACT REVIEWS

Legal documents are a necessary part of doing business, any business.  Unfortunately, many business owners sign documents without fully understanding the terms that the other party has written into a contract. Even worse, the business owner may not fully become aware of the ramifications of that contract until it is too late. 

AMC Legal provides legal document reviews with a full written opinion so that you will understand the terms of any agreement you are entering into and you can negotiate more favorable terms on your behalf, or even decide the contract is not for you.

Lease Negotiations
Nearly every new business must go through the same steps to get up and running. Signing a lease is not just another step to be checked off. The commercial lease can be a very large part of your business budget. You need to make sure the terms are as favorable to you and affordable for your business as it can be. Just about every lease will favor the landlord, but there are steps that can be taken to ensure it's not more favorable than it has to be and with the current economy, many landlords are being more lenient in negotiations. Think about it, with many businesses folding, there is no line outside the door to sign commercial leases. Sometimes all it takes is the courage to ask for more favorable terms. Often times, for smaller buildings, the lease is just a form contract the landlord bought or found on the internet. It would be foolish to simply sign without at least trying to negotiate more favorable terms, which could wind up saving your business a bundle.
